For Clients
It’s hard to work towards happiness and fulfillment if you don’t know what that looks like for you. Rather than dictating what you should do, I consider myself your partner in uncovering what you want out of therapy and out of life. Once you know where you want to go, we’ll chart a course to get you there!
Teenagers (13-18)
Young Adults (18-24)
Adults (25-64)
Like many black families, we didn’t really talk about our emotions when I was growing up. My parents loved and provided for me, but I was often left to my own devices when it came to processing difficult emotions and experiences. It was very isolating, and I didn’t know how to regulate my feelings. As an adult, I’m here to support others who feel alone with their emotions like I did. My therapeutic style is highly client-centered. Based on your unique circumstances and goals, I’ll recommend the methods that I believe will best facilitate your healing and personal growth.
By offering therapy in ASL to the deaf and hard of hearing, as well as culturally competent therapy to BIPOC, I hope to support populations who typically don’t get enough attention from the mental health community. However, I truly enjoy working with clients from all walks of life. Whoever you are and whatever you’re facing, I would be honored to join you on your journey!
