Medens Health today announced it has joined Aetna's network of providers to make its mental health services available to more people in California.
“Aetna is one of the largest health insurers in California, and we are incredibly excited to make Medens Health's services available in-network to such a large population. This is core to our mission of expanding mental health access,” said Kyle Lott, Chief Operations Officer of Medens Health. “We look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with Aetna in the near future.”
The news follows Medens Health’s announcement in July that it also is expanding access in California, partnering with TriWest to provide services to military veterans and members of the National Guard and Reserves. Medens Health’s services are now available in-network to more than 50 million on the West Coast.
“California has no shortage of mental health solutions, but there is a shortage of places to get high-quality therapy that’s affordable, available, and able to provide care for a broad range of needs. Our focus is to tackle this problem in a meaningful way,” Lott said.
